About

Vision
Our vision is to see lives changed by the gospel. We believe the gospel is the good news that Jesus died for sinners. The book of Romans says, “All have fallen short of the glory of God.” We are no exception. But we believe in a loving God, who in His grace has given us the hope of salvation through Jesus Christ. The gospel is then not good advice that we should take into consideration, but good news that completely changes who we are and the way we live.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. (2 Cor 5:17)

Mission
Our mission is to make disciples. We believe that being a Christian isn’t about living the American Dream. Rather it is about becoming disciples of Jesus who then go out to make more disciples. We do this through maturing, multiplying, and mobilizing believers into their communities who then proclaim and teach what Jesus has commanded.

[18] And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. [19] Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:16-20 ESV)

History
Grace Creek Church (GCC) began as the English Ministry of Life Creek Church (LCC), a Korean-speaking church dedicated to serving Korean immigrants in the Milwaukee area. LCC was first located in the city of Milwaukee and was then known as the Korean Church of Milwaukee. After 35 years of growth, the church moved in 2005 to its current location in Oak Creek, WI. In 2019, the English Ministry became an independent church known as Life Creek Church of Milwaukee (LCCM). To establish it as a sister church of LCC, LCCM changed its name in 2023 to Grace Creek Church.

While Life Creek Church and Grace Creek Church are two distinct churches, they partner in the mission to share the gospel of Jesus in Oak Creek and beyond. You can find more information about Life Creek Church by visiting their website: lifecreek.org.

Affiliation
GCC is an independent church that is not tied to a particular denomination. People from all backgrounds and denominations are welcome to attend. That being said, we are closest in doctrine and practice to the Presbyterian Church in America (www.pcanet.org).
